A First Look Inside the New Ultra Luxurious Park Hyatt Bangkok

Located in the heart of Bankok’s central business district, the brand new Park Hyatt Bangkok combines state of the art architecture with world class food and service, creating a unique experience for its guests. When building the hotel, planners brought in the best of the best from around the world to help with the hotel’s design and architecture. New York-based designers Yabu Pushelberg, who also led the way in designing the Park Hyatt New York, took charge on the Park Hyatt Bangkok. Also lending a hand was fellow New York design firm AvroKO, who’s main task was to design the hotel’s penthouse, as well as the Grill Bar.

“We are excited to open Park Hyatt Bangkok in this incredible city that is full of culture, history and a rich sense of place,” said Michel Golden, general manager of the Park Hyatt Bangkok. “Our goal is to make all of our guests feel welcome and very much at home with highly personalized service in a luxurious and sophisticated environment.

Some notable design features include a statue consisting of a large group of copper swirls suspended above water to create the reflection of a pagoda and a statue of a mythical water dragon made out of batons hanging from the roof. The Park Hyatt Bangkok is connected to the Central Embassy Bangkok, a high end shopping center that also opened last month. The two buildings are connected by a walking bridge shaped like the number eight, which is a symbol of good luck in Chinese culture.
