adidas Consortium has teamed up with Boston-based retailer Bodega and Newcastle imprint END. for this year’s “Sneaker Exchange” series. The task of the collaborative project is to reinterpret a pair of adidas sneakers while paying homage to the Three Stripe’s heritage and also pushing forward the future of footwear design.
For this year, Bodega and END. took on the ’70s classic Haven model and the all-new Iniki Runner, producing two patchwork denim designs dubbed the “Boro Denim” pack.
The retro Haven silhouette boasts a beige suede upper with patchwork denim accents on the Three Stripes branding, leather at the heel tab and lining, a rubber midsole with a white EVA cushion and a semi-translucent gum outsole. The Iniki Runner features an all-over denim patchwork upper, suede accents at the Three Stripes and lace guard, indigo yarn stitching throughout, gold rivets and a full-length BOOST midsole with a gum outsole.
The adidas Consortium x END. x Bodega “Boro Denim” pack will release on July 1 exclusively at Bodega and END. with a wider release slated for July 8 at select adidas Consortium accounts. The Haven will retail for $160 USD and the Iniki Runner will go for $180 USD. Let us know if these are a cop or drop.
