HM and colette have joined forces on a special capsule that is comprised of premium apparel culled from the fast-fashion giant’s most recent fall/winter Studio line. This is HM’s first time collaborating on designs with another retailer. To pay homage to colette, HM has amped up the blue accents on several garments in the range. The most eye-catching piece in the collection goes to an anorak-poncho hybrid made up of wool and nylon, which will retail for approximately $228 USD. Conclusively, the capsule will feature nine pieces with several hand-painted women’s products in the gamut.
“We wanted to created the perfect wardrobe, and work with contrasts — masculine-feminine, street-meets-sophistication,” said concept designer Angelica Grimborg to WWD. The collaboration is slated to release on August 21 at colette’s official website. A global release will commence on September 14 at select HM stores.
