Los Angeles-founded men’s label The Hundreds is honoring some of New York’s pioneers of hardcore rock with the announcement of its latest collaboration with Revelation Records. The two have released a set of shirts and hoodies dedicated to some of the bands that helped shape the city’s hardcore scene back in the early 1990s, with the likes of Youth of Today, BOLD, Gorilla Biscuits and Judge all gracing the new apparel.
The collection features five designs inspired and approved by the aforementioned bands printed across a set of different tees, pullovers, and hoodies, with a variety of colorways available for each design. The full Revelation Records x The Hundreds collection is available now through The Hundreds’ online store. Be sure to also take a look at our exclusive interview with Bobby Hundreds, where he discusses the making of his documentary BUILT to FAIL: A Streetwear Story.
On the collection Bobby states:
“Hardcore meant a lot to me. Maybe it meant everything to me. So much of current Streetwear and fashion rips off hardcore T-shirts, so I thought, ‘Why don’t we do it the other way around, and make hardcore shirts inspired by Streetwear?’”
